myLot: Are the discussions that you write here good enough?

Did you ever stop to think about it?
The factors for a discussion to become good enough here certainly vary widely (maybe more than we can imagine), ranging from an interesting subject that allows a lot of responses and interactions among various members (alone or with someone else), good titles (something that usually draws people's attention), some cool image to add value to the topic, a clean and compressible writing and many others examples.
There is not one subject better than the other (although some are better received by the members and generate more comments)... What I think makes the difference, is the originality that you print on the subject that you chose to write.
Conclusion: Be creative... Be original!

i would like to be like the other mylotters who write as they please, who write for themselves, regardless of the outcome.

I write whatever I think will be interesting. Sometimes I have several thoughts at once and then write up different posts and hope for the best.

I am still rather new and trying to get a feel for things but that is a question I ask myself a lot.I also ask that question whenever I write - no matter the platform or subject.

Those are some interesting notions but it also has to do with which Mylotters are looking around when you post your's, sometimes even the best discussions are missed if they are posted when the mood of the current mylotters is for something different. Sometimes I get lucky, sometimes I don't

A great point you make. I used to write a lot of "my day" type journal posts, and now I only do so if something remarkable happened....
