I love music and basically listen to all genres. For a while now I've been thinking about which albums do I consider the 10 best of all time. Right now I'm leaning towards Neil Diamond's Hot August Night and Bob Dylan's Highway 61 Revisited as the best. At the same time I am also in the mode to discover new music, so let me know which album you consider the best of all time. Don't be shy if it is an album by a local artist in your country. I discovered great music from other countries throughout the years by the likes of Stef Bos, Edith Piaf, Bart Herman, Oliver Shanti and many more.

Here's someone many people don't know about but should. If you are not familiar with the artist, Mike Oldfield, you have your assignment. In fact, you are familiar with his music but you don't realize it. If you're new to his music, his first big hit with Tubular Bells is a historically profound piece in music history.

I don't have a greatest album of all time. I am more into individual songs than a collective.

I'd have to say Tubular Bells by Mike Oldfield ought to be considered one of the best all-time albums in the rock genre. It is so unique and far-reaching in scope. Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon is an icon, as well.
