Stress Is Not My Friend

Not sure if others can relate here but sometimes I just wish things could go back to when I was young and had no issues. Back in the day when I could sit there for hours playing Barbies Monopoly and kickball.
With all the things going on at this time a lot of it is financial and since I am not making any money at this time it is leaving my wondering what my next step should be. If it was not for having fibromyalga etc I would probably be somewhere working. Actually at time like this I wish I was.
So the stress begins and now wondering what I need to do. I need to figure out how to do POD and sell some stuff or what? I need to start trying to find ways to bring in some extra $$ right now. The stress brings up other memories as well.
So anyone have thought and suggestions that I might need to consider looking into.

Well, I have a selling site with items for sale on eBay, Bonanza and Amazon, and willing to share the links if anyone asks. Then I also have my online business which I have some success with from time to time, and offline places I sell on, etc. But right now also looking into some other stuff too.

@KrauseHome At least you have a few things going to help with a little bit of income. Hopefully you find something else to help. Best of luck!

I have fibro and diabetes, and am working, but that is me. I can deal with work better than I can deal with the stress. Of course I make up for it by not getting anything done at home, and sleeping quite a bit on occasion. I also do not have an issue with wounds that do not heal as you do.

Have you looked for work online? Upwork seems to be a good place, and I am investigating flex jobs. They have a lot of legitimate jobs posted..but it takes time to look at them all. I want to find a low stress job. Most of the jobs I see if you look at the job description they want you to do 100 different things for a less than ideal wage. I just want to call people on the phone and remind them to take their meds or something lol..

FlexJobs? Not heard of that one. I am considering looking at Fiver to see what might be there. Going to recheck Upwork etc and see what might be there for some extra $$ besides my online selling sites and some of the offline I do like Mercari and OfferUp

Have you seen a Doctor to see what they suggest? You need to find some ways to relax. If writing does it, make sure you take the time to be here as often as you can.

Would be nice, especially if there was enough $$ to pay all the Bills and quit worrying about everything but Believing god for Great things to come.

Yes it would be a little easier if I did not have the Financial worries that we have at this moment, but Praying and believing God for great things to spring from all of this.

I think a lot of us wish there was an easy way to make stress go away. My childhood I worked from early morning to night on a farm, so didn't have a lot of play time.

That would not have been an easy childhood to live. But now anything to distract me like coming in here and writing is definately one that that helps.

I sell on eBay and Bonanza with little sales right now. Then I also sell items via OfferUp which is unpredictable as well besides being listed on Manta, etc and get Jerky sales from time to time as my offline sales at events. Just not steady enough right now.

Listening to music is a Good one. I enjoy a lot of times some uplifting Christian music and a lot of times if things start getting me down too much besides coming here and posting some I find myself finding a Good song on YouTube to listen too to help pick my mood up some as well.

I am currently trying to sell off anything I really don't need or want on Ebay. I'm surprised at what has sold so far and would recommend trying it if you can. It can be very stressful having to feel like you need to earn every day, especially if you aren't in a situation where you have to really work for what might be very little earnings. I too wish it could be easier and that I had more time to just chill out and play the games I did when I was a kid.

I already sell on eBay and local sites like OfferUp. It's just been really slow for me.

That is what I am trying to do. Like today I am in here posting more than anything else which helps keep my mind off of some of the things that are stressing me right now.

Hi. You might try to download the app 60 ways to make money. I found it quite informative. Plus, look at the website the penny hoarder, it is filled with info on making some money. Like to write? Check out the content authority website. Where there's a will, there's a way. God bless.

Many times, it makes me wish I could go back to those days. At least if we were acting childish we had a reason too.
