Who invented ReCaptcha?!

Whoever invented ReCaptcha needs to be taken out behind the woodshed and whipped. It is so annoying and time consuming to have to click all the dumb pictures, sometimes on two or 3 screens, just to get into a site. The SolveMedia captchas, where you just have to enter a few letters or words, is so much better! I wonder if these sites are getting a kickback from Google for using ReCaptcha? I hope somebody figures out a browser plugin to counteract the stupid thing, because it is a total hassle and waste of time!

Yes, some programs are better than others. Love when what is typed in is correct, but said to be wrong and you get to do it again....and again.

That is extremely frustrating! Usually I'll just X right out of the page and try again later.

I totally agree! I hate the ones that ask you to pick out all of these really hard to see photos to determine youre a human. It seems like survey sites ask you to do this far too often. If you have cookies enabled I feel they should know you are still a human! Agh!

And after we've signed up and worked the sites for a while, obviously, they know we are human! That is such a lame excuse, I think they must be getting money for it or something.
