Confusion Rules.

I do not know about you, but I am a member of many social media groups.
Some are niche/specialist/private/secrete groups, such as ex-military organisations, or those involved in a technical field.
But the majority are general, open and public groups, on such platforms as Twitter, Facebook, Google+ and so on, others on lesser known platforms like Yeopen, Niume, Ello and here at myLot.
Now, all told, that is a large number of sites and a far greater number of communities or groups within them.
So how, may I ask, am I meant to remember the individual rules that each specific group, on each specific site has for posting threads, comments, images, information and such?
If you have a system, please let me know. I would dearly like to steer clear of the wrath of the moderators!
Thanks.

Basically the rules on any site are common sense, surely, and that is not too dofficult to remember. Or is it?

I don't know. My experience with the Niume moderators has been favorable.
However, I actually know one of the moderators. That's not the case for most people. I would not have known she was a moderator if she had not told me. I noticed that she was a writer so I had some questions. In the conversation she mentioned she moderated a sphere.
Another moderator actually contacted me and told my content was placed in the wrong sphere. The content was not deleted. It was returned to “Drafts” and I was told to correct the topic category. The moderator did sort of indicate in our discussion that all the moderators actually work for free. They are volunteers and it's possible some may be a bit “over-zealous”. If such inconsistency exists, it's probably best to contact the site owners with your complaint.
According to the FAQ the main way to get on the naughty list and get banned from the site is by plagiarizing someone's content or stealing other people's images, etc. If it's your stuff you should not have a problem.
I started writing at Niume at the beginning of the new year (2017) and so far my entire Niume experience has been breezy! I publish original content and republish my content that has appeared elsewhere on the web. Also the owners added the “Donate” button to encourage readers to support their favorite writers. Never been at any writing or blogging site that had the “Donate” button. I like it there. I'm confused that you're having a difficult time.

I have no problem with Nuime, in fact I sing their prasies.
Like you, I have had one post returned to drafts until clarification was made. No problem.
My post was more of a general nature, like remembering every password one has, remembering each groups piccadillos regarding posting over three hundred and sixty various individual groups/spheres/communities is not easy.....unless you have a method?
