Windy Days and Nights

I posted earlier about my indecision with keeping my old pots and greenhouse or buying a couple of new things and streamlining my process a bit. Well, March is certainly coming in like a lion this year! I woke up Monday to my greenhouse unzipped, top missing and the first level blown across to the other end of the balcony. So, the choice has been made for me: new, taller containers! Planting update: peas, onions, kale have not yet sprouted. Tomatoes and mint have pushed up many little happy sprouts.

We've had a lot of windy days around here too and it can do so much damage. Glad to hear that your plants are sprouting!

Yes it can. Usually the wind takes down power lines around here or tree limbs.

If I had any kind of pots or plants on my deck they would have blown away today. The wind is pretty fierce

I don't know what I'm going to find when I get home. It's been windy again today.

Yes, sounds like your decision is made for you. It has been so windy here in Kansas. It's calmer yesterday and today so they are finally getting the fires under control. Thousands and thousands of acres of land are burned close to me and many people lost their homes. It's been scary.

Me too! Yesterday one of students had a lot of fun trying to walk into the wind. She's so small that she couldn't do it!
