Can it be 'slip disk'?

Hey guys. I noticed about 2 hours ago, the back ache I had from morning just got worse and it's definitely doesn't feel like a muscular sprain. Is there any possibility for it to be a 'slip disk'? Should I visit a physician?

Did you lift something heavy? There is a gel called voltarene. You can try to use it. It helps to alleviate pain

Of course, you should. Since when do people get healed via the internet?

Oh and...there's this application where you can type your symptoms and they tell you what sickness you may be having.

@jesroash I've heard that this is not advisable for laypeople. Physicians don't study medicine for nothing.

if it only just started today, I would say try taking a hot bath, or laying with a heating pad or maybe some pain meds and rest. if it hurts after a few days then maybe make an appointment but sometimes it can be due to just sleeping wrong or something.

Yes, have it checked by a health professional. I hope it's nothing serious.

@1hopefulman currently, I'm a student to 10+2 and am giving my examinations. So, I'm so freakishly tensed and prepping for that!

For now maybe try a nice hot shower and see how it feels tomorrow. Backs are tricky. If it's still bothering you, i would go get it checked out. Hope you feel better.

I have several slipped and fractured discs @jesroash . I live with pain every day. If you have a slipped disc an x-ray will show it and you could then see a chiropractor to shift it back into place. You may also want to try some Yoga stretches.

@jesroash You are welcome. I went from being 5'11" down to 5'8" because of the spinal problems and the spinal cord is being pinched because of it. Some day I could be paralyzed from the neck down. So don't wait to have it checked. Better to be safe than really sorry some day.

I highly recommend to go to the doctor Specially if it is really painful. God bless and have a great day. Our back is very important and we can't work that much when something discomfort us.

Have you tried using pain medication and resting? I think it would be a good idea to visit a physician if there is no improvement after a few days or if you are unable to move much right now.

It aches when i move but is bearable. And I'm going to apply a spray for muscular pains after a while.
