Soooo, I cut my hair short and I THINK I regret it.

March 10, 2017 1:17am CST
My anxiety is telling me I cut it too short, & if $53 was worth it & if that lady was really doing my hair correctly.... On the other hand I look bomb and it looks so good curled and It's so much faster to do... Now how do I make my anxiety say nice things about me?

i used to go to the parlor to get my hair cut but sometimes i get the feeling of wanting to cut my hair by myself.. then later on regret it now i can cut my own hair loving my hairstyle without regrets.

@Anaboo12 they say I have long silky hair ..many admired it .. The usual haircut I get in the parlor is the plain straight cut so o try to add some style.. I cut the front in layers

@carexing25 you should do do YouTube videos on how to do it, it would probably help a lot of ladies!

I'm sorry you think it might be too short but the good thing about hair is it will grow back!

Sounds like the cost was worth it! I always say that if I live, it will grow out and if I don't, it won't matter.

It takes time to get used to changes. It does seem like you might simply have a bit of anxiety that is challenging the real opinion that you look and feel great! Sometimes if I start to feel weak or as though I'm beating up myself I try to imagine that I'm some character from a TV show that is a particularly confident person who would never ever doubt themselves. It feels good to do this, even if it feels like pretending at first it eventually rubs off on me.

That doesn't sound like a bad idea, I'm actually going to try that! Thanks!

I think your hair looks good on you. Sometimes we tend to regret something we get used to. But give it a week and you will think your so hot with your new hair.

@Anaboo12 I was like you. Before I say that to myself. But now I know what really looks good on me.

Thank you, that means a lot! I look in the mirror and I'm like ":(" then someone compliments me and in my head it's like "she's lying" .

Give it a little bit more time and I'm sure your anxiety will subside...
