Angels Wings No Hardly That......

Pamplona, Spain
March 10, 2017 3:49am CST
Monsters that fly across this blue sky Scaring everything in their sight Flying and diving so low I am wondering where do you come from To where do you go Leaving a thundering crash in your ear Leaving a sharp pang of gripping fear Flying so low it almost seems, That they will fly through your very windows But tis the way it goes dreadful terrible noise comes and goes I would wish they had the wings of a Butterfly Yet better still Wings of an Angel But no here they come again To strike fear into the bravest of hearts The very ground shakes as they nose dive into their little Show Of pompous glory yet really with nothing more to show.

Beautiful poem! Airplanes make such awfully loud noises, even when flying high.

They were here again this morning to pay us their visit. But this time they turned back and did not nose dive for some reason. Whatever the reason was I was glad of it.

You are talented. Your monsters are less frightening than the monster of Verlaine, but intriguing.

Simply Military Jets that I have nothing against until they start flying really really low. Maybe they want to pick the Flowers in the Garden. Maybe they want to come for Tea. Next time I might leave a Window open for them to fly in and another for them to fly out again with a cup of Tea in their hand. I am wicked are´nt I? Thank you tops you are talented you should be that Journalist I always see in your writing.

@topffer Aha, hiding the light under the bushel. I bet you can do it really. My British sense of humour really when I say things like that.

@lovinangelsinstead21 I would not invite monsters for a cup of tea, but I find the idea very British. I am too lazy to be a journalist. It is a terribly hard job. I need to have time to write, and I write only about my domain of knowledge. I would be unable to write a novel.

Monsters of the Sky I call them. They make the most dreadful noise I have ever heard. Military Jets. I believe they come from Zaragoza actually but they also fly training or whatever they want to call it over Las Bardenas a huge desolated area of land. Thank you Sreekala hope you are well and have a great Weekend ahead and one and all.

@Sreekala Really I am writing about the anguish and the fear these noisy things bring into our lives. I much pity anyone that has this very near to their homes.

I am on about the Military Jets that fly over here Tiara. They fly so low with an incredible noise to go with it. They will be back again later and then at 10.00 o´clock tonight to give us another demonstration of their racket oh boy.

oh, the airport here in my city is about a kilometer distant from our house, but there are no military jets hovering around, just commercial planes. also, no nose dives here.

So glad that you don´t have that kind of problem. I can see them outside here when they nose dive practically into the Garden. Of course they are a certain height in the Sky. I can see the actual Pilot too and is if that were not enough two of them nose dive together. I am pretty sure that they can go and show off somewhere else. I am not impressed with their talents way too noisy.

@ridingbet Whatever they want to do that is up to them but not over this Garden thank you very much. They fly at the height of the Storks that fly here. Except that I prefer the Storks any day of the Week. Boys will be boys if you see what I mean.

@lovinangelsinstead21 isn't it scary when you witness these 'dog fights' for exhibition? i read some news about accidents of crashing each other while up there.

They have made their way over here at least three times and scared the life out of my Dog and he does not scare easily. You have to have a strong heart and a good healthy pair of ears to withstand the terrible noise.

@pammooratan Well now I can laugh but if you live near here this is very frequent. Its something like Heathrow Airport but these are Military Jets dreadful noise and you have to get used to it whilst you are around.

No, Bunny they are Military Pilots I can almost see their Faces so low sometimes. They nose dive right over my House all the time when they are up to it. Only my House mind figs to the rest of them by the look of it.

Far and away from that kind of thing if you notice what I have said to others its about those super fast Military Jets that nose dive over your very house and that makes the horrible noise very scary indeed.

Jabo UK We are in line with two Airports or three. Las Bardenas is some kind of Military training ground so they have no excuse to fly over here to bother people. I just wish they would show off somewhere else. Noain and Zaragoza are two biggish Airports quite near but I think its the Las Bardenas thing is the main trouble.

I wasn't exactly sure of which type of flying creature you were talking about here, but I see it's probably military planes? I can't imagine living that close to an airstrip. We have a few planes that circle but nothing that drives us crazy with ongoing noise.

Its about Military Planes and that´s it. When they nose dive over here which they do a lot you have to be used to it. Its like living next to an Airport.

Oh I was already awake and they will be back tomorrow to see if they can scare us some more I suppose. They are brave Pilots but I don´t care for their noisy planes and nose dives over our Roofs.

@sol_cee As of today they are not here but I should not speak too soon. They might have Radar ears on them and think lets go back and make them rock a bit.

I can understand what you have to bear up with. My native home is not far from an air force station.

Thank you Xavier you must live near to an Air Force Station not asking you where but you must have a strong heart too. This morning I thought they would fly straight through the Window. Our dog does not scare easily but he did yesterday. I wish they would go and show off somewhere else but without all that terrible noise. One of these days I am going to be able to shake hands with them.

Thankfully we don't get such aerial performances in our area. I wouldn't be able to rest if they were flying overhead at night.
