Time to Get Off the Couch

Hello, this is Huckleberry the Cat, and my mama says it’s time to get off the couch.
I don’t know why she would think such a thing.
Mama says it’s time we started creating content again. I told her I was busy writing in my head.
We have officially relaunched and are in the process of expanding our Content Creation business, Old Roads Once Traveled. I asked for a wake up call when my YouTube channels goes online.
I need to be fully rested for that, don’t you think?
It’s been a long time since either of us have written. Somebody had to pay the bills, and being the supportive kitty that I am, I chose to encourage Mama while she did that. But now it’s time to shift gears and work on growing our business. Soon, Mama says, I can have my own blog and my own YouTube channel. And, of course, I’ll need my own studio full of cat trees and cat toys and cat food and places to run so that I can make viral videos and get famous.
I hope being famous doesn’t take up too much of my time. I can’t miss nap time.
But, first things first. Mama says it’s time we became regular at myLot. You can say you knew me when I was just another cute cat.

Dearest Huckie - it's Auntie Mildred the Cat. What your mama said about getting off the couch is not good, unless you are getting extra treats in return. It's just like when my mom tells me to get off the kitchen table. About the writing, both my mom and I are very happy to see you here at myLot. I haven't written in a long time, missing your predecessor Guiness so much, but maybe now I will. Sending you purrs, paws and high fives.

Dear Auntie Mildred the Cat,
I'm glad that I get to write here at myLot with you. I'll try to do it on the couch as much as possible, but sometimes I will need to take a break to run up and down the hall like a crazy kitty or to hop on the counter and lick the sink faucet. My mama thinks I should be content with a bowl of water on the floor, but what is the fun in that?
I also need to devote a little of my time in my job as Editor of The Guiness Blog, archiving more of Guiness' classic content.

I have been following your progress to date and you have blossomed into a fine young lad....I hope you have studied the work of your predecessor and can continue in his pawprints. @bagarad Dear Miss Barb,
It's easy. All you have to do is dash down the hall almost to the end, slide a few inches, scamper around until you're facing the opposite direction, and then repeat a few times. My mama finds it helps her sleep when I run up and down the hall for a few minutes at bedtime.

It's been so long, the entire industry has changed! It's almost like starting completely over. I plan to spend March restructuring my mindset, so that writing gets priority. It's also going to be time to plan, do a lot of administrative stuff, and especially to re-educate myself about monetization, promotion, social media, and the technical stuff. New blogs, new platforms, new social media, new YouTube channels are in the plans, along with resurrecting some of the old options.

@OldRoadsOnceTraveled Ah, purrhaps the next time the photographer can be more timely. We should have a new kitty friend here in the next few months. We are gathering the needed items first, and want to wait until after our two weeks out of town, then will be checking out the humane society to see who might like to live with us
