Antivirus Slows Your Pc Down.

Just got rid of my Antivirus, no disrespect but it had my machine go ridiculously slow. It was taking ages to load through pages while surfing and exploring.
I was actually using a free version and there were daily updates to its database taking a huge amount of my internet pack.
I know now my system is now open to virus infection, but that wont be until I inject it with an infected external drive, that's where the last attack was from.
Removing it has actually made a lot of difference in the speed, hope it keeps up that way.

I agree antivirus slows the PC down. Somewhere on internet i read that who makes the new virus for PC ? they say the companies who are making antivirus :D simple strategy to keep the business running, Since that day i am only using windows defender and my laptop is fine.

Now that could be as you have read because daily database updates, doesn't make any sense.

@devil89 I had a lot of registry attacks recently and they were annoying, anyways will try out windows defender thanks bro.

@nitirrbb7 Yes i was also freak out while using different antivirus, I was having more threats and unknown new folders, system volume information folders and FOUND00 named creepy folders in my PC :D when i stopped using them all except windows defender everything got fine. Including my USB

What was the Antivirus you used?
I myself still use Avast and put it in "gamermode" so it is silent and works good.
If you do not visit any sketchy sites you should be safe tho.

I was using Avira Antivirus, I had some infected usb attached which cause the issues.

Hopefully the speed increases! Luckily I don't have to deal with any viruses!

It has a little bit than what it was prior, and good you never had to deal with any virus earlier. But I have a wonderful virus for you take it
