Are you a sushi fan?

Sushi is a dish has a certain worldwide popularity and is usually well appreciated by many people... But I'm not one of them. 
I don't like fish, so... This dish is "dead" to me. My parents and a lot of my friends have tried to make me like sushi, but it didn't work out and this is great because, generally, it's an expensive dish and I can save some money to spend buying other types of food. 
What about you... Do you like sushi?

I adore sushi so much! I like fish things so yeah it doesn't bother me haha but yeah it is very expensive but it is worth it haha Just keep away the wasabi from me. I hate that stuff, it hurts me haha!

@DesirousDreamer It's actually very easy to make your own and you can use what fillings you want, it just takes a bit of time to prepare the rice beforehand.

@workathomefan I prefer to get take away or go to a sushi place, I think that the freshly prepared sushi is closer to the original japanese taste. I ordered sushi at the office today, you gave me the idea and I was dreaming of sushi since you posted this discussion!

I do like sushi. As with most things, there are some types I don't like so much and others I like more. It is expensive, though, so not something I have often.
One thing about sushi is that not liking fish doesn't mean you won't like sushi. Because sushi is the name of the preparation of cold rice. My sister thought she wouldn't like sushi because she doesn't like fish. When I explained that it wasn't all fish, she tried cucumber hosamaki rolls and liked them. Raw fish is sashimi (which can be fish or other raw meat).

I like sushi and it doesn't have to be made with fish, it's the special rice that makes it sushi. People often confuse it with sashimi, that's the raw fish dish.
You can make sushi with all sorts of vegetables like cucumber, carrot, avocado, spring onion - pretty much anything you can cut into strips and eat raw - and with egg or meat. Somewhat oddly, Spam is a popular sushi filling, and yes we've tried it and like it too!

I love sushi. Spicy tuna rolls are my favorite to eat. It really isn't as bad as people think it is. You can't even smell the fish. It taste nothing like what you think raw fish would taste like. California rolls are always delicious. It doesn't have any raw fish in it and most people don't know that so they want even try it. I got my mom to try some & she was highly against it as well just she really enjoyed the California Rolls and Tuna rolls when she tried them.

Yes! I do like sushi and in fact, whenever I go for buffets, I always head to them first. I don't know I find them refreshing to eat. To be honest, I sometimes forget eating salads because of these little ones.
I like them and try to recreate them as well ... well for the maki (which is what you have in the picture). However for the real sushi, I have to buy from the restaurant or store because I don't think I can really determine their freshness on my own.

I can take it or leave it. The Peruvians have a raw fish meal called Cerviche. It is an nice meal to have. Look it up at youtube.
