I am now studying in China and have tried a variety of Chinese dishes. I think most of them are yummy, such as Braised Beef with Potatoes, Chicken Fried Rice, Spicy Diced Chicken with Peanuts, Beijing Roast Duck, etc. Have you ever tried the Chinese food? What food do you like best?

I usually get the Sweet & Sour Chicken or pork with fried rice. I also like the egg drop soup. I use to like lightly spicy food but now I often have bad heartburn, almost daily, so I try to stay away from the spicy stuff!

I have only eaten the Sweet & Sour Spareribs and Sweet & Sour Fish. I have never seen the Sweet & Sour Chicken dish in the restaurant. That's strange.

I like Chinese food and in fact prepare some dishes myself. I am good at making the sweet corn and crab or chicken soup among others.

I think Chinese food is very good. I like to eat egg foo young, shrimp dumpling, and beijing roast duck. They are delicious.

The Chinese food I know is pretty Americanized. I was watching a YouTube video of a man with a Chinese wife who tasted American Chinese food for the first time. There were only a couple of dishes that were similar to what she knew and the names were entirely different. For one, she giggled saying that the name we used translated to a bad word in English. The two dishes she thought were the closest to what she had in China were our General Tso (not called that at all there) and I can't remember the other one. The chow mein here she said didn't exist there, except as a dish they would make with all their leftovers. And, the noodles were wrong. The word mein implies a certain kind of noodle and we didn't use it with ours. But, she did like it. Now, I do like the General Tso (sweet and spicy) as well chicken & broccoli. Oh, she really liked the beef and broccoli saying it was very authentic, but that our beef was far superior. When I ate Chinese food in England, I was so disappointed. I couldn't finish it and it was double the price that we pay here, so it was disappointing in many ways.

I have try Chinese food. Living in Malaysia that has diverse culture and race, some food are fusion with another.
My favourite is dim sum, wantans and probably char kuey teow. I don't know whether our version of char kuey teow is Chinese dish or a fusion.

Our Canadian Chinese food is good. I like chow me in, sweet and sour chicken, fried rice and egg rolls. I love pretty much all of it. I love the bourbon chicken I had while vacationing in Florida. It was the best I ever tasted.
