Oh Mother Nature, are you drunk or something?

I was just thinking about the crazy weather we've had over the last few weeks. It's been really crazy. We've had spring-like weather, sunny and warm. It'll be like that for a few days, and then before we know it, we get a few days when it's really cold. Like winter cold.
I don't really understand what's going on. It would be nice if it stayed warm and Mother Nature would stick with that. I have to wonder what Mother Nature is thinking.
I know it'll be warm soon enough, but the temperatures have been all over the place.

Mother Nature seem so I have a mind of her own. Hot cold...sun cloud...maybe she's menopausal.

@Morleyhunt That's true. This is kind of normal when you think about it. It will get here when it's ready. Then it'll be summer time!

@dodo19 it's actually pretty normal for spring to arrive in fits and starts. It will eventually arrive and stick around. Then we'll be anticipating summer.

It is the extreme cold temperatures that get to me. It goes from being mild to be really cold. It would be much easier to deal with if it was consistent instead of the extreme ups and downs.

@dodo19 yes -5 to -10 isn't bad at all but we have had some really good temperatures. It's the wind. Hopefully it will all be behind was soon.

We're experiencing similar weather here in Florida. This past week, our temperatures have been in the mid-80's (30 C), but in a few days our temps will plunge down near freezing. I wish Mother Nature could just decide on staying hot or staying cold, and stop fluctuating back and forth between the two.

@moffittjc So you can send up some warm weather and I'll send down some cooler one. I'm make the trade with you, since I'm not sure Mother Nature got the memo.

@dodo19 I'm on the opposite end of the spectrum. I wish she would settle for cooler. It's already too hot here in Florida, we could use a nice cool down.

This is one of the first yrs I can remember on record where here in WA state we have more colder days than warm. We are still patiently waiting for some nicer warmer weather. I guess it was here last yr when we had like 90 days with no rain and in the 80s most of the time.

It has been like that here also. One week it will be 50's and 60's then one week we have a wind storm of 81mph winds and then this week we have a blizzard. The noreaster storm has reached our area. I hope this is the last of the storms though and then warmer weather will get here. I picked a good few days off work though with being sick since the weather is crappy and all.

@Blondie2222 I think for us it's going to be this evening. I'm hoping that this is the case, as I still need to pick up my kids from daycare.

@dodo19 We are expecting snow today, overnight and a little tomorrow, but tomorrow will be windy (again) and it will really blow the snow around. I feel sorry for the younger parents that have kids out of school for March Break, especially if they are staying home, they will be stuck inside.

It sucks, but it happens. I just think of it this way.. if we dont have a cold winter. We'll have one awful summer. Cuz thats what some folk say. So bring on the cold winter weather!

I know right. It was extremely hot a few days ago and today it is in the low temps and some places in NC had snow. I was wearing wearing shorts and a tank top Thursday and today pants and snow boots.
