Alone vs Survivor - no contest

The new season of Survivor has begun - is anyone watching? I have watched each season faithfully over the years, always wondering how well I could do. It looks quite difficult. I then started watching a series on the History Channel called Alone. This makes Survivor look like a birthday party. In Alone, they drop you off in the middle of nowhere - this season was Patagonia - and leave you ALONE. There is no film crew, no food, no shelter - nothing! You film yourself. There is a small medical crew that checks in at times to see if you are physically okay to continue. Everyone has a satellite phone - use it and you are out of the game. The winner is the last person standing. They have no idea how many people are currently still in, they just go until they can't anymore. They could be out there for a week, month, six months, or more. The winner of Season One lasted 56 days, Season Two was 66 days and Season Three was 87 days. This is the ultimate test (until now, who knows what is next) of a persons survival skills.
