Beautiful sketch!
Yes yet anither passes. Way too soon for this lady too
I wonder if more modern artists will leave their mark as much as those who have left us recently have done. I doubt it.

@TheRamblingMan Those with real talent will forever be part of music history. The others will be forgotten really quickly.

Modern artists seem so transient. Many are in the business as a business and not as artists. I think that is the difference to those who knew nothing about commerce and simply wanted to make music.Yes some got taken for a ride by the labels and their managers, but what a legacy they have left us.

I've never really listened to music, Paul. My brain works in such a way that music, even just playing in the background can make me forget what I'm doing and just stop thinking. I sit there like a statue and do nothing. When the music stops, it takes time for me to come back and then I have to try to remember what I was doing right before I blanked.
I simply don't listen to music. I can't read and listen, talk and listen or type and listen. If one of those activities has to go, it will be listening to music every time.... Oh, it is not just me that has this problem.... My daughter is 28. She can't listen to music either.
May I ask what you meant by "A little sketch to say goodbye."? Are you leaving myLot?

No no, not saying goodbye to MyLot, saying goodbye to Jodi, the image above. I created as a tribute.

We were shocked to hear about this today. Did you do the sketch included here? It's very nice.

Yes, a bit of digital painting, thank you.
She was only 60. That surprised me...to early, far to early to go.
