It's important to win money or a contract with a company recorder?

Hi! If you are a pop star or a singer and you win a competition, what you choose between two awards? In my opinion, I think that it's better to win a contract with a company recorder because that brings much more benfits. First of all, if the prize consists in money, sooner or later, you will run out of money and as we can see, that prize is good in the short term. If the prize consists in a contract with a company recorder, that can brings many oportunities. Then you can interact with people, with experience who can guide you to the path you want to follow and you will learn a lot of things wich can bring you the success that you deserve. I want to know your opinion. What do you think is better?
