My wife intended on making me a a birthday ottoman of course this was a DIY project. Many of you wanted to see the end results. I honestly didn't think my wife would finish it and time mostly because she had to do it all by hand with nothing but hand tools. Well to my surprise she managed to get it all done and all done the day before her deadline. Below is a picture of the finished product. This goes to show that anything is possible if you put your mind to it and a little effort.

She is she worked nonstop on it every free moment she had she was up until about midnight last night and back at it early this morning. Her fingers are sore from all the hand stitching of the thick material.

Yes and she made throw pillows for the kids and relined our couches with extra padding to make them fluffy again and she still said she isn't finished she said she wants to use up as much of the couch as she possibly can. Sorry about the blur we later realized the camera lens had something on it lol.

She is awesome. I like it the thought is what counts and it is functional. It isn't how she wanted it looks wise but its not bad at all.

@SIMPLYD Thanks I am always using it when I am home. I use it when I am on the laptop it is perfect height so that I am sitting level. Since she chose to make it a rectangle instead of a square like she did our sons I can lay on it to play my xbox too.

@arthurchappell She has an idea brewing in her little head I can see it she has a good idea but it won't be easy to execute but I am confident that she will find a way to make it work. If it goes well she will probably be selling all kinds of items from art work to decor items right now its all just ideas until she can figure out the rest of the stuff to make it actually something she can do.

I am and I know it! We have a great relationship we don't fight and when we do it's usually over things like what we are going to eat.

Yes, putting your mind to it will certainly help you get there. Knowing a little of what you are doing is a help too.
