Pride is excessive belief in one's own abilities, that interferes with the individual's recognition of the grace of God. It has been called the sin from which all others arise. Pride is also known as Vanity.
Envy is the desire for others' traits, status, abilities, or situation.
Gluttony is an inordinate desire to consume more than that which one requires.
Lust is an inordinate craving for the pleasures of the body.
Anger is manifested in the individual who spurns love and opts instead for fury. It is also known as Wrath.
Greed is the desire for material wealth or gain, ignoring the realm of the spiritual. It is also called Avarice or Covetousness.
Sloth is the avoidance of physical or spiritual work.

Before anything else I would thak u for starting such a discussion .
I personally don't believe in "sin" as espoused in religious books . But I myself define for myself that those acts which directly brings to me unhappyness are sin for me . Thus I round the clock commit sins .
But here I shall like to go by the definitions as you have put. Accordingly I have thought for a while and found that greed and sloth are my favorite sins.
First of all I have till date found nothing to be proud of .Envy is one of my recognised sins , but not favorite , because I am ashamed of it almost as simultaneously as it attacks me. I am free from gluttony for sure.( is it pride in itslef?)Lust and anger are under my control . I have never hurt a woman by doing something undesirable to her being driven by lust. But greed is something that i have never let go beyond myself , i.e, I shall try to accumulate as much as I can without bad means . And sloth has been my childhood friend and is going to die with me.

I agree I think Pride would be my sin. At some point everyone is proudful over something about themselves. Sometimes pride is what keeps people going through life.

Yes we all need pride.. but the limit to it is not to reach arrogance. That is the point where you become ignorant of others and start mocking them.
