The Most Sad Thing I Read In The Past Two Or Three Months

Did you hear or read a couple of months ago about the young 12 or early teenage white girl who committed suicide on Facebook Live and millions witnessed it? She hanged herself. The video went viral and I am pretty sure it ended up on YouTube. I am not sure if it was taken down or not. I refused to watch it.
I had hoped it wouldn't happen again, but once again, yesterday on Yahoo, I read a same story. This time it was a young teen black girl who committed suicide on Facebook Live. It saddened me so much to see that headline, I refused to click onto it and read how she actually did it.
What is going on with people today? Suicide is bad enough, but to broadcast it Live on Social Media for millions to see?
I just am sickened, sad and don't get it!!!

It makes me so sad to read about stuff like this. I could never watch a video like that and I don't really understand why people would want to. May she rest in peace.

I've never heard of this. I'm thinking that in the young person's mind that it is a bit of a "payback" for either no one liking the person, or being bulled, or angry about something someone did, or just feeling down with the world. Sort of a "I'll teach you to treat me like this" thing.
It is sad and a big signal that parents need to know more about what is going on in their child's life.

I think it was that they were being bullied. And yes, the parents need to know more of what is going on in their lives.

I feel sorry for the families too. I am thinking those two girls were bullied real bad and didn't know who to go to for help. They felt like they had nothing to live for. But, they did have something to live for, if they could have just gotten the proper help.
