Hey guys, it's day 3 of my fasting routine & I already feel awesome! Let me tell you how my eating schedule is! I eat my first meal at 2 p.m (I can only eat; chicken, steak, no/hardly no charbs if it has protein, no sugars, water or tea, no bread, fresh fruits & veggies) that's right, skip breakfast! And then I don't eat again until 8 p.m and that's when I have my dinner. And then I might light healthy snack afterwards. But, I cannot eat after 10 p.m. So I don't eat from 10pm-2pm and 2:30pm-8pm and then stop after 10, everyday. It gives your body time to digest everything. Makes your body eat stored fat to convert to energy. You won't over eat. And the energy you get from what you eat at certain times will convert to muscle and burn fat. I'm usually have a sweet tooth really bad. As In, have to eat something sweet after a meal and have to have chocolate everyday.. well,I haven't had any in 3 days and you don't know how bad I want to pig out! But I'm not that hungry and when I eat, I eat a good big healthy meal. I don't feel bloated like usual. Wish me luck!

Good job. Glad you are feeling better. A few months ago I started to eat mainly just fresh veggies and fruits rather than processed crap and I feel really good as well. Energy and just cleaner in general. A little bit of weight loss too. How long are you doing this for? Best of luck.

Yeah, no processed foods at all. & it's a lifestyle change. The good thing about this diet is, it's like a loaded protein fast.. We get our vitamins and energy from fruits and veggies. But also eat a lot of protein. So you are losing a lot of weight but also gaining a lot muscle mass. It's a good way to get lean and cut

I do intermittent fasting 16/8. I open my eating window at 11am every day and stop between 6 and 7pm. I make healthier food choices now, have switched to low carb and I feel great and weight is starting to drop off again. There is an adjustment period where you may feel off a bit, but overall it's a sustainable and healthy way to eat I've found. I know others who fast for a full 24 hours at a time on IF - I personally don't like that and don't find it sustainable, but I've had great results on the 16/8 and improved health also. Good luck with your IF - one lovely thing about IF is that there are so many variations of it that can work. :)
