Today I added this to the list of things I never thought I would say at work.
It is in good company with:
"I'm sure she didn't mean to lick you."
"Please keep your teeth to yourself."
"What did you just pick up from the floor? Is it in your MOUTH?"
"Please remove your hand from your pants."
"Paper is not food or drink. It does not go in your mouth."
"Say excuse me."
"No, you don't need to taste all the crayons."
Kids may say the darndest things but as a teacher I find myself saying some too!

lol those are funny. As a mom I said those same phrases more then a few times.

My sister has too. I don't have any children of my own yet, but I'm wondering if I'll be surprised by anything they say after all of this

Unfortunately, they are very necessary! It's just weird to reflect on them because they are such odd things to have to say at all
