I know it is mostly due to my depression and the fact that I don't really do much anyways but I sleep soooooo much.
I am always tired. I try to go to bed at certain times but my body wont let me fall asleep. Then I sleep for like 12 hours. Sometimes I even feel the need to nap for a few hours during the day. In turn makes me stay up late because I can't fall asleep.
T___T man I just want a normal sleep schedule.

I have had this problem my whole life. The best thing to do, and I know, it is an evil thing, but get into the sun. You are tired because well depression and the fact that you are probably not getting enough vitamin D in your system. Even if it is just 5 minutes, enjoying a view of something, letting the sun just get into your body will help out. And drinking water, I cannot stress that enough. I am bipolar so depression is a constant thing, but the more water I drink, the more I feel like I can get through this day. I wish you the best, I hope you get to feeling better.

@TheAmazingSquid ~I can totally relate. The depression leaves me achy and drained. Spring is really hard for me but really don't know why. I always loved Spring.
Anyways, I've always been noctural, but my sleep schedule is way off. I sleep alot more when I'm depressed. Being bi-polar, I love the brief energized manic episodes.
I've had depression for as long as I can remember but didn't know about bi-polar disorder until my 30's. I found out when I read Patty Duke's book, "A Brilliant Madness". I was so happy when I realized that I wasn't alone feeling this pain.

@TheAmazingSquid ~For people who live in the USA, there are groups that may be able to provide information or assistance. One of them is NAMI= National Alliance on Mental Illness. I was just reading about a free Peer to Peer program. They also have programs for family members to help them to better understand, to help and to cope.
Hopefully, there are similar organizations in most countries.
