If you can believe this...after ripping open the first eye
without telling me what was going on, he did the second eye and used the same equipment which ripped the second eye open as well!!!
My husband had the proceedure right before me and he came out with perfect vision!!!
All I can tell you is really research the surgeon before having this done!
Thanks for responding

had to have corrective surgery and will need two more before it"s over! Can't afford it until the settlment comes through and then it will hopefully cover the medical but not the year off of work!!!
The "DR" turns out to be a rich, arogant, quack who could care less about his patients!
By the way...Dr Kawesch practices in san diego folks!

My husband had it done about 10 months ago. He had to have the E-Lasik done because his eyes were so bad. He was in pain for about a week or 2. Sometimes his eyes are blurry but most of the time they are great. I am sorry that happend to you. I hope your getting a good settlement.

Wow, that's really aweful. It just goes to show you how corrupt society can be, even those that claim to want to help you. I've been debating about having lasik done in the coming years. It's still a relatively new procedure so there isn't a whole lot of info out there on the long term effects of the surgery. You're situation was most certainly unfortunate, but I don't think it would deter me from getting the procedure done. It will definitely make me be thorough when choosing a doctor though. Thanks for sharing your experience with us. Hope the settlement turns out well.

I don't do that, but I have a friend have done it.
I don't think it is good to do, because it cannot assure the operation will be success, and maybe it will be done again in future.
you must be very careful durong your operate, you eyes will get gall and you feel bad.
