A silly limerick in honor of the day!

A limerick is a five line poem. Lines 1 and 2 rhyme, lines 3 and 4 rhyme and line 5 rhymes with lines 1 and 2. Anyone who spent time at the old Bubbs site probably participated in their poetry challenges....they were fun. Limericks are usually a little on the 'dirty' side. I am not good at clean limericks but I gave it a shot...here goes:
There once was a bloke named Scott,
MyLot ladies thought he was hot.
He ran through the town,
With his pants falling down,
Hoping to catch one.....why not?

I have noticed that today
We do have quite an array
Of Irish styled posts
From American coasts
So it must be St Patrick’s Day
I suppose that I should have suspected
That Limericks would not be neglected
I decided that I
Should give this a try
But it turned out as poor as expected
