What are your goals for this year?

We are well into the year but still working on our goals we set at the beginning hopefully. How is everyone doing on their goals? What are your goals?
I still need to pay off some debt to be fully debt free and I still have weight to lose. I also set a goal to read 100 books and I am falling behind on that one. Otherwise I am working forward to reach what I set out to accomplish.
How are your goals coming for the year?

I set a goal to publish at least 100 ebooks this year. I like to set high goals because it makes me work harder to complete it. But since my goal from last year was to publish 50, I added it to the grand total. So my current goal is 150. I've published 24, so far, it's going well. Since they are short stories it's easier, but still, if the idea isn't flowing, or real life gets in the way, completing just one can be a challenge!

That is awesome. Id love to know more about this. Where do you publish these books? How long does it take you to write one? Do you write on many subjects or just one? How did you get into this?

@OneOfMany That is so awesome. Congrats on finding something you love to do. Could you make a full time living off the money you earn this way?

@happythoughts In the past it was certainly possible, but the market is so flooded with ebooks currently that it is really difficult to make a living doing it. I am confident that I could, but only if I increase my rate of productivity. It was disrupted because of health problems, but if it hadn't been I might have been up at least 10 more books by now.
According to seasons writers on Amazon, making a few hundred from it in a year is considered lucky, and making a few thousand is very lucky. Considering I made $250 last month, I'm ahead of the curve (and it was only my second profitable month). But to live off it, I would need to make around $100 a day. So I have a long way to go!
