Good afternoon.we finally got all of our withholding tax mail. Mike is the last one and we had to wait for some time. This morning at nine.Off we wen to HDBlock We had this tax man for some time.He is very good. I love one sign there.I can find some money for you?what As he was preparing to do the tax.I ask him did you find any money. Yep.What is it.You are getting 29 dollars back.wow! But you have to pay the NH tax of four hundred dollars. the 29 dollars do not put a dent in it. But it is done for another year.we love you Mr.taxman. Did you file yours yet

That is rough. We had our income taxes prepared last week, this is the very first year in 3 years that we will both get a small amount back. Of course the day that we went, the Revenue Canada site was down, due to a cyber threat, and they were not able to e-file anything. I would expect it to take a bit longer because of the fact that they were off-line for a couple of days due to that.

@amadeo Yes we file as a couple, but we each have our own earnings and claim, and we each get a small amount back.

I thought legally all tax materials had to be mailed out by the end of January. Filed long ago...money in the bank a few days later.

@amadeo We have a financial advisor who looks after our superannuation etc but we're on a part pension so I guess there isn't enough of anything to mean that we need to do a return.

Tax seasons can be good for some people. I think the money that some owe to the tax man are given to others they owed.

I don't have any businesses anymore, so no taxed there.Since I retired I have never file an income tax form ...but I am under the taxable range anyways.And I am not travelling anytime soon...id they still want tax clearance. Congrats on the money returned
