Aloe vera as many know has several properties and is used as an ingredient in many products including cream, hair oil, toothpaste, and also it is taken as a supplement for general health. Applying aloe vera gel directly to one's hair yields great results. First you shampoo your hair with any shampoo of your choice. Pull out a leaf from your aloe vera plant - more mature the plant the better it will be - cut a piece of it say about 4" from the lower side, gently slit it and remove the gel. The remaining portion of the leaf could be refrigerated for future use. Massage the gel in your hair after the hair is fully dry and keep it for about 2 hours. Wash your hair with warm water. I am using it regularly and see results. What methods do you have to improve the growth of hair?

I've been using it on my face all week. It certainly is soothing. I have a mop of hair, so don't need anything other than a shampoo, conditioner, and the occasional deep conditioning at my hairdresser.

Has there been any relief? I am sure there will be as aloe vera is the best skin protector.

Nice one. Other than shampoo, I only use honey for my hair. But...using aloe vera sounds a good idea.

I have aloe vera plant in my garden but seldom we use it for hair or for skin, its just an ornamental plant in our garden. But when I was just teenager, I used this for my face because I have so many pimples and acne. The results just the same, until the pimples got no more space in my face and transferred to my neck.

I know there are many benefits to use Aloe vera. But I haven't tried to use the real Aloe vera for treatments yet. I don't know how to deal with it. So I just buy the Aloe vera products.

I used to be a disease prone almost the whole childhood period of mine, Because I lived in rural area and where hospitals were far, and when got the chance to visit, a doctor would usually suggest medicine for a predicted disease. It reached a time when every after one week I must be in the bed and very sick, I had no hope to live more because I believed my life is too short,. I have tasted almost every medicine to try a cure for that period but I didn't. I was a sufferer and I thought that would last forever. The only thing that would give me life at least for one week is aloe Vera juice. If provided with a chance to drink orange or pineapple juice and Aloe Vera juice, after drinking Aloe Vera juice I would thank the provider many times and every body would wonder on me. The bitter taste from aloe vera juice was the best friend of mine as it provided support to my life since in primary school until I completed my advanced education. After attending the military training that has helped me forget about medicine and I have not been sick since I did military training. But I will always remember my best friend Aloe Vera.
