Son Goku - Olympic Mascot

I heard Son Goku was chosen as the mascot for Tokyo's 2020 Olympic. I think this depict Japan best. Instead of creating a new mascot, they choose to pick a world-known anime character as their mascot. Kudos to the anime industry in Japan. It's optimizes and efficient.

Isn't it? Lots of people already know Son Goku. For those who doesn't know, he's a likable anime character, with athletic figure and bright, positive-thinking attitude.
