They left! She's depressed!

My best friend lost two of her relatives in one month. The first one to leave her, her maternal uncle had cancer. It was pretty late when they found out. The doctors couldn't even realize what it was until it reached the higher stages and that made it all worse. They were just putting the highly reactive treatments away till that time. A week later or so, she got news that her paternal uncle passed away as well. Shocking, YES! Indeed!. But not as abounding as the reason. CANCER! PANCREAS! The same thing. How is she supposed to cope with all of this? Especially as she was very close to both of them? And...she's got her examinations? I can't bring myself to comfort her either because i know I couldn't get through all of that. I remember every day she went to the hospital to see her paternal uncle. Her dad wouldn't take her but she'd argue, simply to return home and hurt herself even more. Now, she's just this vulnerable little puppy who I can't even look towards anymore. She stands so strong but my heart shatters every time i turn to meet her eyes! May their souls rest in peace!

We all die some day. I worry about that with my parents specially my dad who is on dialysis, and my mom who wouldn't tell me her condition. I have a bad feeling I might end up just like her or worst.

I think it is difficult to see the pain of some one rather than going through the pain by ourselves. We have no words to comfort them or words are not enough. Hope she will come out of the pain as days passes.

I see her moving away from the pain little by little but something always triggers it. I'm just concerned that it'll take longer than it should. She's gone through a lot in her life but I don't think she can take another blow.

I think there is no comfort we can give her... But prayers. God knows how to comfort a sad soul. He also know what to makes them smile... God has all the answer and what we need in. Life. God bless... Just always be there so when she start talking to release her pain there is someone like you who is willing to. Listen.

Cancer is such a terrible disease.I think your friend should keep her mind away from all other things and just focus on studies right now.I know it's very hard to do when one lose someone who is close but one has to go on.

I am so sorry about your friend. Just be with her and comfort her whenever you can. She is still suffering and so just give her time to mourn.

You comfort her by being with her. Sometimes action can speak louder than words. Just support her that way.
