I have never heard of this mushroom, but it is a well known medicine in Asia and supposed to help with memory and even cancer..
The Lion's Mane mushroom (Hericium erinaceus) is an odd looking fungi that has some pretty incredible nutritional and health benefits.

Yes, I heard about that. But I haven't seen the real proofs yet. There are always some rumors about eating something will cure some deadly disease, but I always doubt whether it is true. If it is true, why so many people die everyday? But of course when the disease can't be cured, it is nice to try something new. At least sometimes having the hope will be so helpful to fight the disease. If it is comfortable to eat it, then just go for it

Very interesting! It seems that our Creator has put many health properties in many items that we can enjoy as food. Good to eat a variety of foods. I had some organic mushrooms in my salad last night.

Lion’s Mane is nature’s gift to your nervous system! It’s the only mushroom possessing not one but TWO potent nerve growth factors of therapeutic value in a wide range of diseases.

Mushrooms not for me, except when I'm eating a burger stake or viand with mushrooms. I'm more into the greeny foods.

Yes, I have read years ago about this edible mushroom. It is good only when young, it grows on logs.
