What did you have for breakfast this morning?

I had to teach an 8 AM class, so I wolfed down a bowl of Honey Nut Cheerios this morning. It got me through class, but I was hungry again by 10 AM.
Since I don't have to teach for a few days, I think I'm going to score some bagels and lox at Trader Joe's later today. Yum! I've earned it.
What did you have for breakfast this morning. Was it satisfying?

I had an English Muffin then a bit later had to go to an election judge class, I got out of there and was starving. So nope the Muffin was not nearly enough.

@fishtiger58 Oh, now that I think about it, I do strawberry jam sometimes. If you try syrup, let me know if you enjoy it as much as I do.

@TheHorse I like a bit of cinnamon sugar or grape jelly on mine. I might have to give the syrup a go though sounds pretty good.

@infatuatedbby Oh, Lox is smoked salmon. It's really good on a bagel with cream cheese and red onion.

I had a pretty large bowl of Nature's Path Heritage Flakes with several tablespoons of Nancy's plain yogurt. I intended to have some toast, but didn't.

@TheHorse I got distracted watching Tom Paxton and Tom Rush. I see Rush used a thumb pick. Have you ever done that?

@andriaperry I feel you there. Tomorrow morning I get to play with the 2 1/2s at my friend's preschool, including my little "won't speak" buddy. I can't wait. Have a gig at an old folks home this weekend, but that's just an hour.

I had the same breakfast I have everyday (while I'm on the go taking the kids to school and running my errands) . . . a bag of dandelion greens and a mug of green tea! Sounds healthy? But then I went to Trader Joes too and had a late post-breakast of that frozen mushroom truffle ravioli .

Cereal never seems to fill me up enough--no wonder you were hungry again by 10--I often eat leftovers from the night before for breakfast. Last night was a corn chowder--and it was yummy this morning as well

@Jeanniemaries Did your parents come here from England or something? The home base for my older kid job is in Concord, right next to Hwy 242. I'm headed there now.

I had one of my favorite things to have for breakfast. I live alone, so when I buy it frozen and cook it for dinner I get to freeze the left overs and have it some few days. I love lasagna.

@TheHorse You know, everybody knows your picture as Walter White, but when I read your comment just now I heard Hal, the dad from Malcom in the Middle. That was such a good show.

I wrote this one kind of as a grumpy experiment, because my previous post, which was more thought out and funnier, go virtually no reads. I wonder if @JolietJake, who abhors such posts, will get the subtle humor in my doing this post in the first place.

@TheHorse It is an Indian food made either from flour or wheat. Have you ever tried any Indian dish?
