I was reading a member's post saying their account has been deleted from Mylot. I know that is possible but only when someone really did a serious mistake otherwise the admin generally deletes a topic/discussion or a comment. Guys, what could be the possible reasons the site admin would want to delete an account from Mylot?

I think there are a lot of reason why, such as plagiarizing possibly repeatedly, causing arguments with others, spamming. People come on here just to broadcast their website and such.

Maybe spamming or inserting ref-links

Duplicate accounts, plagiarized material, spam account to name a few. I have seen people have two accounts and talk to themselves, for instance, to boost their earnings.

Duplicate account? But what is the use of having duplicate account when one cannot write enough on his/her one account!

The terms of service say this "myLot reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject, refuse to post or remove any posting by you, or to restrict, suspend, or terminate your access to all or any part of the myLot services at any time, for any or no reason, with or without prior notice, and without liability."

there's a lot of reasons, usually because they didn't follow the rules.. sometimes if they've been harrassing other people..but usually consistantly breaking the rules.

After reading all the comments, I guess the member concerned must have broken one or more rules, thank you.

If there is any serious mistake done by the user then it might happen. However, I have no idea what exactly leads to the deletion of account.

That's what I thought so I asked this here because I have seen discussions disappear but not the accounts in the past.
