Going Shopping

Keeping my promise I went shopping with my friend.
For nearly 4 hours we went around to here and there. She bought this and that.
And what about me? Believe it or not, I did not buy anything at all.
I saw things I like but at that time, with tight budget and as they didn't seem very important to me, I turned my back on them.
A little regret when I got home but I am so proud of myself.
Have you ever gone shopping for hours without spending any money?

You remind me of a friend who would worry me to accompany her as she had shopping to do. By the time we returned my bags would be full and hers empty

I do not like to go for window shopping. If I go for shopping, I make sure that I buy the stuff for which I went to market.

Yes, I will have to but agree with you that women (including my better half) like to go for window shopping and they spend more time when they go to market.

Yes I use to do it all the time. It was nice that you got to get out and go shopoing with your friend shopping is always fun.

Yes I have many times. I am not a spender. I used to always go shopping with my sister when we lived close to each other, I don't enjoy shopping but she does. She would want to go to many stores and buy things-but I rarely ever bought a thing. My budget didn't allow for it and I like saving money, not spending it.

Yes, I hate going shopping when there's not much of money. Even when I might not spend any money, I still want to have some loose change just in case.

Thank you to think that way. My friend doesn't drive so it's hard for her to go from here to there in time and I need to get out of the house so... I 'killed 2 birds with 1 stone'.

I use to do it all the time when I went shopping with my daughter. She would buy all kinds of things and I would come home empty handed. I am not much of a shopper.

It's good that you spend time with your daughter, even just go shopping. That's the time for us to bond with our children... I hope you didn't have to pay for what things she bought.

Yes, it's time to catch up with others isn't it. Hope you didn't get bored, especially when you wanted to go to this store and the others wanted to go to other stores.
