While responding to a discussion on rising temperatures today, this question came to my mind.
Has any of you, especially fellow Indians lived or are living in some very cold places in Himachal Pradesh, like places above and around Manali, Keylong, Kinnaur etc?
And when you come to hotter places, and even other places in your own state, what is your feeling?
Do you like warmer places or these colder ones?

I have been to simla last year it was not cold that time. I had been to Uttrakhand - Kedarnath 2 years back it was too cold even in the month of June. We were shivering with the cold breeze and there was snow everywhere. I like colder places more than plain areas.

@sjvg1976 Oh that was a great experience. I once experienced snowfall in upper reaches of Nainital in Feb 2008. It was very cold and almost freezing there.

@sjvg1976 Yes, but I once lived in Dharamshala(Himachal Pradesh)in 2001 for almost 2 months, and after 1 month+, I had began to get bored, even with so much greenery and so many hills and nice scenery around.
