Hopefully (fingers crossed) we will be choosing a couple of sheep tomorrow! Yippeee! We are after a couple of ewes so that we can start to breed them with a ram and have home grown lamb! It has taken some time to sort the fencing out for the paddock where they will be, but, better late than never!

So are there several breeds for you to choose from? I'm guessing perhaps they are Shetland sheep.

@destry We used to have a stud of Suffolk sheep. I saw my first Texels in France and thought they were quite different-looking. They seem to have no necks at all.

It sounds like everything is going well for you up there. Will you post any photos of the sheep you be getting?

Better Secure than not as well. Wouldn't want any of the sheep to get out! On a side note, my aunt once kept goats in a little fenced in play area in her yard.

Wow! I also dreamed of having sheeps, but I know it is a great responsibility
