Well, I didn't actually get into a fight, but my characters in my graphic novel did thought.
I forgot how exhausting fighting scenes are to write. I was writing it and fixing it up and it was really tiring.
I was working with 4 characters who have extreme powers and it was their very first fight so their powers were not reliable because they haven't trained enough.
They fight a very powerful person who has powers of thunder and lighting clouds, he can cast lighting anywhere he wants.
Then another character comes in and she has a wind ability and also can turn invisible if she runs fast.
So these poor girls who have no idea how to fight have to defend themselves while also discovering what their powers can do.
It was still fun to write though. I like writing scenes that happen after a fight. Because it is just so encouraging or devastating. You either have heart break or joy.
Your fingers also really hurt after a fight scene. Because there is just so much happening during the fight scene that you are thinking faster than you can type and it is so intense. I love it!
I still do not what my favorite kind of scene is to write though. Fighting scenes are fun, love scenes are okay, I do like the investigating scenes where the plot twist just drops in front of you.

I have yet to write an effective love scene. I like to do slice of life character pieces mostly.
Keep up the good work!

Actually, I think this is really interesting, that you do that. I was never really into that, I failed to articulate the significance of that as an art form, and when I finally could...well, let's say I just didn't have the time-but I seriously wish you success in this.

I have always loved writing and anime and things like that. I went to school for creative writing, might as well pursue it!
