My wife got a free sewing machine today. She had been wanting one for a while now and was planning on saving up and getting one herself. Apparently someone who enjoys sewing took a liking to her. They thought it would be cool to have a sewing buddy so brought her a gently used sewing machine so that she could do it with them and it be their thing. The person's spouse was a bit jealous that their husband bonded with my wife in a way they couldn't but I don't care I think it is great and I'm happy for her.

We do the same thing even if it is not something we can use we try to find someone who can use it or find a use for it later on

She said now she has to shop for material to sew on the machine. She is excited.

It does not batter as long as your wife get enjoyment out of te sewing machine.

The sewing machine will make her very happy because it will let her make things she likes to make things and tinker with ideas i am happy for her.

If you are not jealous and your spouse is happy, there is no reason to bother.

@lokisdad Yes, I understand that this is her personal problem, but it is up to her husband to try to make her more confident.

I am not jealous it was a nice gesture and the guy is very respectful and loves his wife she just is insecure about herself if he shows any attention to anyone other than her it is a reason to upset her. I say that is her personal problem.

She is very happy lol she even gave him a hug which she doesn't do much she isn't big on touching. I have no reason to be jealous we are very secure in our relationship.
