Why some make it and some do not at myLot

We get to read posts of success stories vis-a-vis earnings here at myLot
Some are busy responding but they receive no commens and so they do not earn.
Some are busy posting and receiving responses and are busy earning.
If only they also commented on responses received those who responded would also earn.
The joy of helping someone else to earn is a different kind of joy.
Try and see. You will know what I mean.

I respond to a lot of comments on here and I don't get that many comments on my post.. I think that we are all here to help each other out and to make new friends. I posted two things today and only got a couple comments on each one.. but then I just think they must not have a response for my topic.

Not getting responses to posts happens with most of us. But my point was commenting on responses received that many do not do.
It takes time for users to get to know you and by and by your posts will get attention.

@allknowing thank you and yeah I guess I read that wrong.. people always say I do everything backwards lol...I will always or most of the time comment back.

but it is better if the commenter knows what is being discussed and not just butting in with no thoughts about the discussion. although we earn by interacting, it is the type of interaction, or action, or reaction, that earns us dollars for our banks.

I assume the myLot commuinty is learned and surely they know what they are talking about. According to me it has nothing to do with them not knowing what to say but not wanting to do it. Afterall they do not earn

@ridingbet That is exactly what I am saying. There should be interaction. There will be very few responses that do not warrant a comment or comments that are meaningless and in such cases those comments could be deleted.

I Wil tell you my story. I normally respond 80~100 discussions a day and start a discussion a day and get only 7~8 responses on that.
I am really tired of it. I have seen few of great members here too who normally don't respond to mine whereas I do. Still I don't complain as it's their wish. I am waiting for my time.

I agree with you. This is not a level playing field.But members can help as much as possible. Atleast those who you respond to should comment on your response and that is how this site works. Strangely there are some who despite not commenting on posts keep getting responses
Not responding to posts is another matter. We cannot expect them to respond as they may not find our posts interesting.

As far as possible we must try and comment to responses that we receive on our posts and that comment earns for the responder.

And coming to your discussion for people who comment here with the mentality to earn won't ever earn, but those who comment here to because they like the discussion does get rewarded. this is what I have observed in this few days after my joining in myLot

If you comment, someone else earns. Maybe you did not know about this.
And this thing about having no interest in earning but just interacting this statement has been made by many in the past and they have been proved wrong. If there are no earnings no one will come here. Also those who say they are only interested in interacting keep checking their bank and write posts on it.

@allknowing As I said I love the interaction, but if I only looked for the money, then commenting for 4 hours and accumulating 50 cents. I would rather make a web designing in 3 hours and would add 50 pounds from it. That makes sense.

@subhajitsil6 Not only you most here love the interaction and most are financially well off. My ISP costs me more than what I earn. Having said that those cents jingling in our bank account do give us that thrill. I am financially sound and in fact I have a Trust that reaches out to the needy.

In think it depends on the discussion topics. What i have noticed is that the title is the centre of attention. I comment a lot on others post but don't myself get really that much responses. But it doesn't really matter to me. I find it more exciting to go through others discussions

That is OK but when you get responses you must comment on them and similarly when you respond there should be comments there and that is how one earns here.

I always respond to my posts and if there are further comments i reply to them as well.
Being a member here for 7 years ,i know how important interaction is.
also, i wish many others would do the same, instead of posting one discussion after another and that's all.

I get very tired of "success, Look how much I made posts and don't read them. I try to respond to almost all the responses I receive and glad to get them.

I am not engaged seriously here many times. But when I comment or respond majority of the friends response back and some of them searches my discussion also. If I spend more time for interactions my notifications will surely increase in number, I never felt lack of interaction here.

Not necessarily I suppose. I do not respond to many posts that do not interest me and I do not expect others to mine if they do not find them interesting but I will comment on response that i get on my posts. This is a discussion site and just gobbling up responses and walking away is the most selfish thing to do in my opinion and then announcing that they have earned the most
