Actually, it was a pretty satisfying day, But it WAS long!
I taught my 8 AM to 9:20 AM psychology class and then went to an all-staff meeting at JFK University for my afternoon big kid job.
Then I went back to the afternoon job site and printed out five progress notes. By the time I was done, it's was 2:30 PM, so I called my afternoon kid client's mom to make sure we were on.
Because it was our last day together, we took a long hike at Black Diamond Mines, and then planted some corn, sunflowers, green beans, and tomatoes at his house.
By the time I stumbled into my house, it was 7:45 PM, and I was pooped. But I still had to go play bass with a friend's band, as their regular bass player has gone into rehab.
When I got home, at 11 PM, I realized I'd been going for 15 hours straight without a break. It was then that I opened a bottle of wine.
I'm glad the hike was beautiful. We saw Indian Paintbrush, Indian Warrior, and several other wildflowers. We saw cows and turkeys and vultures, but no rattlesnakes. I am now safe at home, eating Indian Creamed Spinach.
Have you had days like this? At least I don't have a meeting until 10 AM tomorrow. That means I have ten hours and five minutes to play some guitar and then sleep.

I seem to either have days that start early and end late with. I breaks....or I have slow lazy days when I putter and spend a lot of time just doing quiet jobs.

@TheHorse sounds like my Wednesday's. The only thing predictable....it's unpredictable.

I suppose a few days like that are good. But I'd like to relax a bit more. At least I wasn't chasing my tail. I may have forgotten to mention that I printed out my exam for Wednesday and doubled back to the College to get 42 copies made.

I like those days, but only if once in a blue moon and even less so on corporate Americas watch unless they are actually doing something good for once. Glad you had a fulfilling day. and fun from the sound of things. 15 hour days are much better that way.
