Well now, when you are a newbie the first question always is- what should I write about? As a freelance writer, I always seem to have plenty to say and plenty to write about. So I decided to use my first post as an introduction to who I am and what you can look forward to reading about from me. I am mostly an open book as I have a passion for being able to connect with people. Now what makes me unique? Everything! Because we are all unique individuals and we all have amazing stories to tell. So let me tell you a bit about myself.
I am passionate about photography, writing and art. I love to capture the beauty of life everywhere I go. I had been living in a van with my fiance for 3 years as we traveled this country and worked in the national parks. The only reason we have been grounded for the past 8 months is because our precious home on wheels broke down and the repairs were way more than we could afford to pay for. So we are trying to save up for a new home on wheels. I love living the nomadic life. I am a hippie gypsy with a heart and soul for surrounding myself with love and peace. For me home will always be on freedom road.
I also happen to have a challenging mental disability and I have written an article on it before and will share that here on another post. I have Multiple Personality Disorder (MPD) also known as Dissociative identity disorder (DID). It is something I have had to live with since I was a teenager. I will post the article I have written before on another website or just share the link.... being new I'm not sure what is allowed to be posted. I am open about my mental disability because my goal is to kill the false stigmas and stereotypes that the media often portray it to be. I enjoy meeting people and making friends but it is always important to me that they understand the disorder and not fear being around me at any time. I want to be accepted for who I am and everything that makes me who I am.
Anyway, this post is probably much longer than what you might expect from a newbie, but I did warn you that I love to write and always have a lot to say. *smile* Really looking forward to making connections here and sharing my writing, my photography and art with all of you.
Peace, Love and Blessings!!

Thank you Hillary!
I love life on the road and if you ever have any questions please feel free to ask. I know my disability isn't scary but there are so many people who instead of educating themselves, just decide to believe false media and movies that don't put a real face on this. I am not ashamed of my disability at all and I am grateful I am strong enough to not allow the false beliefs of others to get to me. Thanks so much for the support!

@MistyckMoon That is fantastic! I'm thinking about a future trip to Arizona, as haven't been there recently.

@Fishmomma I love Arizona! It is one state where you can experience summer temperatures and winter temperatures in the same season depending on what part of the state you are at. Quartzsite is a tiny town that explodes during January and February because they have the largest gem show in the world. It turns from a barren desert land into a sea of full time Rvers and vandwellers. It is an amazing experience.

@MistyckMoon Thanks for sharing the information about the gem show. I do like to see shows that are different.

Welcome aboard!
Interesting first post too BUT just in case you are unaware, myLot is not an article writing site. We earn nothing for what we do. Our earnings come from how others react to pur posts, responses and comments. This means that you should comment back to those who respond on your posts so that they earn too
Have fun and good luck!

Oh I do understand. My articles are not your norm everyday things... LOL! I love to share myself with others. I just tend to write a lot when I do. And I always believe whether or not you get paid, it is common courtesy to respond to anyone who responds to your post. Besides... how else are you going to get to know one another without any interaction :-) Thanks so much or the welcome! Please feel free to let me know what is and isn't allowed. I am sure I will learn as I go but would hate to be breaking any rules here.

@MistyckMoon If more people thought like that then it would be perfect here You will notice that many don't acknowledge those who respond to them.
Here you will find all that you need to know, especially in the first two:

@Nawsheen I am already loving it! LOL! spending more time here than on fb! But I thrive with social interactions, I just love it. As much as I love my fb friends and family.... I don't get this type of interaction or even satisfaction.

I've always said to people that I have a controlled form of multiple personality disorder, but in the end it's just sliding into different personas and making them work for me. For a long time they were very different from my normal personality, but now there is little change when I use them, and I can slip into them and out of them instantly. I actually use them to write different themes that would be difficult otherwise.
Before it was common I would be submerged into the different emotions that came with taking on each persona and it was sometimes difficult, because it was hard to make it back to my own.
I'd like to hear about what it's like.

@MistyckMoon In the end each of my personas was still me, so I always knew what was going on. One book, many chapters.
You're saying that you were several books. :)

Hi Morgan,
Yes there are different levels. For me, I have no idea what is happening when an altar is out. Fir me its like waking up from sleep except that I am usually somewhere I different than what I last remember. I will write a post about it this evening. :-)

Wylde, I believe you'll have a wonderful time here and will soon discover there's so much to explore. There are people from so many walks of life, but share a common theme with you in that they enjoy sharing and writing. Check out whatever there is amongst the posts and discussions going on and have a great time.
I hope you guys can get the van up and going again, but I'd suggest you look into a small or used RV if you can swing it. These days the market is filled with plenty of them, so you might be able to find a great deal.
What to write about? I'd say your nomadic life must have offered plenty of adventures and stories! Welcome to the neighborhood.
