well first off you need to decide what kind of site you would like to use php html aspx ...etc i suggest html its very simple you will need a program like dreamwaever i suggest you use dreamweaver front page sucks you will also need a them for you site now making one will take pratice i know this from experiance to make one i suggest you use photoshop

The easiest place I found to create a website is http://www.freewebs.com It's easy to select a background template. It's also easy to type in your page content. I found it to be very user friendly for someone that doesn't know much about html. The site is free. You could maybe experiment with your page on there and see how you get along with it? If not to your liking, then at least you haven't spent any money and it's easy to just delete it.

you can create website with dreamwaver. If you don't want that much professional you can use tripod.com and piczo.com in that web sites you can create some basic web sites. For hosting you can use www.100webspace.com
