I have always told myself that if I came into money, I wouldn't buy expensive clothes, $1,000 watches, expensive cars or that type of thing. If I ever won the lottery or got some kind of money, I would have an earth sheltered house build into a hill on property with a nice view. I would have it designed and built to utilize energy saving technology and then install alternative energy sources like wind and solar and then promote the house to encourage others to want to build similar "green" homes. It has always been a dream of mine to buy a popular restaurant franchise and have all profits go to help single parents who dream to go to college or a trade school to better themselves. I would start a foundation to run the business and the scholarship program. I would name the foundation after my sister who died in 1980. At the time of her death, she was maintaining a extremely high grade point average at a prestigious law school while raising her infant son.
