When it comes to food it is believed that the food of Japanese will have more salt and sugar. yes. The diet will have processed white sugar which has been introduced subsequently in the 19th Century. But, a traditional Japanese food does not have more Sugar. Salt is necessary for our health. This is found in their diet. It is found naturally in their various foods and they do not have any commercially graded salt as generally preferred in European countries. The secret of being healthy is not in the use of sugar and salt in the diets of Japanese. But, lies entirely in the way the take their food. The peculiarity of their diet is that most of the items in their diet are chewable. This is a good exercise to the Jaws and releases the hormone which is quite capable of digesting the proteins which are generally can not be digested easily. Though the salt and sugar are responsible for keeping them healthy, their contribution is less compared to the way of their eating contributes to their good health.
