20 years ago today we lost my Grandma Mary, I was only 11 years old when she passed, i wish i had gotten the chance to know her as an adult, and i wish so much that my younger siblings Kenneth, Tristan , and Taylor Bergstrom had gotten to meet there grandma, and that my nieces and nephews got to meet there great grandma. She was loved by so many and gone way to soon at only 55, life is so precious we never know how long we are given in this life, so spend as much time as you can with you're family and loved ones, you never know how much time you will have....

I am sorry about the loss of your Grandma at such a young age. I will be 53 soon, so 55 is not that old at all.

I am so sorry for your loss. Very often I have heard that grandmas actually love their grandchildren more than their own children. And yes you are right we must definitely spend time with the family because those will become the best memories later on i guess

@chrissbergstrom I never got to see my grandma (from my dad's side). She passed away at the age of 23. And dad has always been telling us how more wonderful live would have been had grandma been here

@chrissbergstrom Such a complicated life in one's childhood that it is difficult to get out of it.

I just remember so much sadness first time I had ever seen my dad and brother really cry, I remember there being some tension and anger towards my step grandfather by my aunt and how that was kind of hard to see. I remember saying goodbye to my grandma's house as I knew I'd never be back there. Still breaks my heart I don't really have anything of my grandma's.

@chrissbergstrom Aww. Sorry to hear that. I never knew my father's dad either. My cousin's grandma "Mom-mom for short" was like my surrogate grandmother. She passed away a few years ago. I believe her name was Mary too.

That is very true. We have no idea when our last day here will be. And should spend as much time as we can with our loved ones and telling them we love them and appreciate them.
Sorry for your loss.

I feel so sorry for her, I understand that how sensitive this things can be. I have also lost my grand father when I was very small, i don't remember much of him, but still I could very well remember that he loved me a lot.
