Im sorry to hear the your daughter's school not let the school pick your daughter up. I would never let my 12 years old walk to the school. I can see me letting my kids walk to school if I were in Japan but in USA, I wont let my kids walk to the school. School need to be more consider the safety of the children who goes to the school. To me, mile and a half is too far for 12 years old to walk by herself. There are so many kids getting kidnapping and if they cant help you out, I think you should contact the school board and have a meeting about the issue.

I would contact the local goverment and talk to them about getting something done about that. I would never let my child walk that far...I would get some goverment involved even contact the sentor of your area someone highter up to get this problem soloved.
