No I don't think gender has 56 variations
No I'm not lecturing you on Trans rights
Our biology books teach us 2 different ways the chromosomes which control our sex can be XX and XY, XX, means a vagina will form, XY a penis
Or
Does it?
Intersex as variations upon variations
A person with XX chromosomes could have a penis and ovaries
A person with XY chromosomes could have a vagina and testes
Can you name the variation? Then it probably exists
Our biology books teach us the "norm" as sometimes it's not always easy to explain something like that to someone.
Intersex is not a social construct, people forget people can be born two sexes and not have it be anyone's fault.
Refusing someone to serve our country because she was born with a vagina, XY chromosome and testes isn't fair to her.

And then there's XXY (Jacobs syndrome) and XYY (Klinefelter syndrome)...

I think its the other way around, isnt it? XYY is Jacob's and XXY is Klinefelter's?
