Do you put ketchup on your pizza?

I decided to ask you this because yesterday I discovered an interesting curiosity about Italian cuisine: they find it extremely inappropriate to put sauces on top of the pizza before eating them. 
I had no idea about that... Did you?

Ketchup ojn Pizza? I have been eating pizza for over half a century and I never heard of such a strange idea. But, if one likes it, then why not?

I mostly eat my pizza with ranch dressing but sometimes I use ketchup but it is rare that I am in the mood for ketchup and pizza. A place called Bella's is the only place where I can eat the pizza without sauce because it is so good.

it does sound silly that someone would unless they just want more tomato flavor cause pizza sauce is mostly tomatoes and ketchup is pretty well the same thing

If it is your pizza, you should put whatever you want to enjoy on it.
Our pizzas (made at home) have sauce we make and veggies. Always a favorite here.

Ewwww that is probably one of the most discussing things that I have heard. That is as bad a ketchup on eggs.

Yeah Italians usually don't like ketchup on any food. They like it to be plain and sweet as they are. I like ketchup with manchurian (any). It tastes good with chinese food.Yum Yum

I think there are so many various toppings available for pizzas that ketchup would seem unnecessary and unexciting.

I read somewhere too that they find it offensive if you ask for extra cheese or anything extra. I eat pizza just the way it is and put some hot sauce after if I'm not satisfied.
