This morning my postbox was full of flavours of the world . . . Russia, China and the UK - what more could a woman want on a Monday morning?
Thank you John @ison_1 who signed us up as members of the Lighthouse Lamp magazine. With the fortnight travels in sight, this magazine has me very pumped up and excited for a few Lighthouse viewing of my own.
Fascinating postcard that arrived was one of the Atlas CĂ©leste de Flamsteed - wikipedia says: "The Atlas Coelestis is a star atlas published posthumously in 1729, based on observations made by the First Astronomer Royal, John Flamsteed"
Now I have learned something new - never too old I see!!!
Now the actual picture on the postcard depicts a few of the Zodiac STAR SIGNS - can you identify any?
Are you born in any of the star signs shown of the beautiful STAR MAP?
I think its the most interesting kind of postcard ever - who would have thought to put the Star Maps on a postcard?
Both postcards as well as post from the UK all had beautiful stamps again - wow I am a lucky girl!

What a great card! My star sign is Gemini (May24) and I don't see it. Is that Taurus the bull? Pisces? (two fish) Could the two winged horses be a sign for Gemini? It's beautiful but ancient.

What a brilliant idea and what a nice way of sending it through the post via a postcard!
