Who Was Guiness the Cat? by Huckleberry the Cat, Kitty Blogger

You may have noticed that my friends and I sometimes make frequent mention of Guiness the Cat, and some of you may not have been familiar with him. Guiness was Guiness the Cat before I was Huckleberry the Cat. My mama belonged to Guiness when she first started writing on the internet, and sometimes she wrote about him. Then, one day while she was writing on Bubblews, she decided that since it was her birthday, Guiness should take over her writing duties for the day as a birthday present. So he did. And he liked it. And so did a bunch of other cats, the occasional dog, and some humans, too. Guiness did quite well on Bubblews and then got his own blog. (I’m still waiting on my own blog.) But, alas, Bubblews is no more, and neither is Guiness. Even though we never got to meet, Guiness is my big brother and I am his biggest fan. My mama says she is sure I would have liked him a lot and that I would have annoyed him greatly. Guiness the Cat and his friends helped pave the way for blogging kitties like me. Some of the Bubblews kitties started the Professional Cat Bloggers Association, and Guiness was president of it until he passed away. I’m proud to be following in his paw prints.
